This whisky was distilled and laid down by Mr. George on the 13th December 1956 in a first fill sherry butt 4455 that was made specifically to his requirements. With Glen Grant being his favourite distillery it is a fitting tribute that his grandson Stuart Urquhart selected this cask for bottling some 62 years later on 27th June 2019 with an outturn of 235 bottles and bottled at 51.7%.
