Largiemeanoch was The Whisky Connoisseur's pseudonym for Bowmore, and this particular Bowmore 1972 is one of Whisky Connoisseur's most famous bottlings, a symphony of fruit and peat. This 22-year-old Largiemeanoch (Bowmore) 1972 came from single cask 906, which was bottled in 1994 or 1995 at its exceptionally punchy natural cask strength of 57.3%, also listed as 100.2 UK Imperial proof on the label.
