A sherried Clynelish 17-year-old Highland single malt whisky bottled in 1998 by Diageo forerunner United Distillers & Vintners (UDV) in the famous and highly sought-after Managers Dram series, whose casks were selected by the company's distillery managers and whose bottles were available only to staff and VIPs.

This legendary sherry-matured Clynelish is one of the most famous Managers Dram  bottlings in the whole series, this whisky would have been distilled around 1980 or 1981 and was bottled at its enormous cask strength of 61.8% at the end of 1998. A strong contender for any list of the best ever official bottlings from 'new' Clynelish distillery.
