Drumbowie was The Whisky Connoisseur's pseudonym for Craigellachie, so this would have been a coup for Whisky Connoisseur back in the days when indie Craigellachie was rare as hen's teeth. This 35cl half-bottle of 21-year-old Drumbowie (Craigellachie) 1973 came from single cask 6918, which was bottled in 1994 or 1995 at its toothsome natural cask strength of 53.5%, also listed as 93.6 UK Imperial proof on the label.
