A single cask Craigellachie 1978 16-year-old Speyside single malt whisky released in 1994 or 1995 by mail order independent whisky bottlers Direct Wines for their First Cask series.

This 16-year-old Craigellachie 1978 came from single cask 7703, bottled without colouring or chill filtration at 46%. Craigellachie, like the rest of the Dewar's distilleries, was almost never independently bottled back in the 1990s - sturdy, characterful teenage casks like this show why the distillery's whisky was in such high demand by the blenders.
