Barstruie was The Whisky Connoisseur's pseudonym for Balblair, so this will be an absolutely top class old school Highland malt. This 15-year-old Barstruie (Balblair) 1978 came from single cask 4938, which was bottled in 1993 or 1994 at a robust natural cask strength of 54.8%, also listed as 95.9 UK Imperial proof on the label.
