A single cask Aberfeldy 1978 15-year-old Highland single malt whisky released in 1993 or 1994 by mail order independent whisky bottlers Direct Wines for their First Cask series.

This 15-year-old Aberfeldy 1978 came from single cask 7799, bottled without colouring or chill filtration at 46%. Aberfeldy was much less well-known back in the early 1990s than it is now, and this delightful single cask would have been an unusual find for whisky fans of the day.
