A limited edition 18-year-old Tamdhu, the oldest core range expression yet released by the distillery since its revival by Ian Macleod Distillers in 2011.

Tamdhu 18-year-old is matured entirely in Oloroso-seasoned sherry casks of both European and American oak, and has been bottled at 46.8% without colouring or chill filtration. Tamdhu has been overlooked for a long time - hopefully this cracking 18-year-old will bring more fans to this underrated distillery.

Nose: Dry nutty sherry, cherry, milk chocolate, rum raisin, citrus, baked oats and plum.

Palate: Sherry notes are rich, complex and mouthcoating with vanilla, brown sugar, red apple and dried fruits.

Finish: Long and warming, dried apricot and dates, soft spice and stewed apple.
