A wonderful old bottle of Strathisla bottled in 1986 as a 35-year-old for the distillery's Bicentenary. A magnificent drop that feels far more weighty and characterful than its 43% strength would suggest, this is one of the all-time classic OB Strathislas.

Rumoured to be a batch of two ex-sherry puncheon casks from the 1947 vintage, just 500 bottles of this very special 35-year-old Strathisla were released, which is a shame because this is a truly wonderful dram - fantastically old school in style with an abundance of oily and waxy textures and flavours among the sweet old-style sherry flavours.
