Strathblair was The Whisky Connoisseur's pseudonym for Glenfiddich, so this is a very rare treat indeed. This 35cl half-bottle of Strathblair (Glenfiddich) 1978 came from single cask 11712, which was bottled in 1994 or 1995 at its natural cask strength of 56%, also listed as 98 UK Imperial proof on the label.
