An old bottle of special edition Springbank 32-year-old Campbeltown single malt whisky. Springbank 32-year-old was bottled without colouring or chill filtration in 2004, so the whisky was probably distilled in 1971 or 1972.

This unusual 32-year-old Springbank was a one-off limited edition assembled from a small batch of refill sherry casks and was a release of just 2400 bottles, perhaps aimed at those fans disappointed at the recent disappearance of the Local Barley series, the last of which had been released three years earlier. A wonderful old Springbank, very spicy and peppery with old oak and lots of delicious orchard and stone fruit flavours.
