An old bottle of Glenury Royal 1953 50-year-old Highland single malt whisky. This was an official bottling of Glenury Royal bottled back in 2003 as part of Diageo's Special Releases.

An increasingly hard to find and remarkable bottling of Glenury Royal 1953 50-year-old. An edition of just 498 bottles at its natural cask strength of 42.8%, this is not only one of the scarcest of all the Special Releases but also remained the oldest whisky in the series until the arrival of a 52-year-old Port Dundas in 2017.

This 2003 Special Release Glenury Royal is a beautiful aged Highland malt whisky that shows fantastic complexity, a fabulous array of mentholated notes, chocolate, wood spice, all kinds of earthy, tertiary aromas and wonderful notes of dark fruits and camphor. Brilliant whisky.
