This is a Springbank that shows a more sherried side but still retains plenty of oily soft peats, brine, soft fruits, cereals, boiler smoke and some light chocolatey tannins. A delicious and mega-flavoursome expression that will delight fans of the older, coastal driven style.
This was another one off bottling done in 2009 that was composed of 80% Sherry and 20% Bourbon casks. Another minor briny masterpiece from the far flung peninsula of Campbeltown.
