Scapa 2005-2022 | 17 Year Old Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength Single Cask 484 UK Exclusive
Island Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 55.9%
A single cask Scapa 2005 vintage 17-year-old Island single malt whisky bottled by Gordon & MacPhail exclusively for the UK as part of their Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength series. Cask 484 was one of a pair of sister single casks released by G&M at full cask strength.
Scapa 2005 17-year-old Cask #484 was a first fill ex-bourbon barrel that yielded 173 bottles at its natural cask strength of 55.9%, and has been bottled without colouring or chill filtration to allow the famously gentle, multi-faceted Scapa spirit to shine its brightest. Scapa has never been easy to get hold of, but G&M are a special case as they have long been licensed bottlers for the distillery, so they still have casks in hand up in Elgin.
