Scapa 2005-2022 | 17 Year Old Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength Single Cask 483 UK Exclusive
Island Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 56.4%
A single cask Scapa 2005 vintage 17-year-old Island single malt whisky bottled by Gordon & MacPhail exclusively for the UK as part of their Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength series. Cask 483 was one of a pair of sister single casks released by G&M at full cask strength.
This Scapa 2005 17-year-old Cask #483 was a first fill ex-bourbon barrel that yielded 186 bottles bottled at its natural strength of 56.4%. A natural teenage Scapa bottled without colouring or chill filtration - this should be sensational stuff from a distillery we sadly see very little of nowadays.
