Batch 19/120 is a 1999 Pulteney bottled in 2019 by G&M for their new and improved Connoisseur's Choice range. G&M have also spiced things up and bottled this one at a natural strength instead of the usual 46%. It was matured for 19 years in a refill sherry butt that yielded just 554 bottles.
The Connoisseurs Choice series is an iconic series that started in 1968. To date, around 100 distilleries have been featured as part of the range, with over 2,000 individual bottlings. Nose: Rich sherry with hazelnut and milk chocolate.
Palate: Smooth and sweet stewed fruit flavours develop alongside almond with a hint of black pepper.
