The Michter's bourbon brand has a complex history, with the original distillery closing for the final time in 1990. The brand was revived by Chatham Imports shortly before the millennium and now produce their own bourbon at two new Michter's distilleries, which opened in 2015 and 2019. As Michter's own bourbons won't be 10 years old until at least 2025, this will be a sourced whiskey made to Michter's stringent specifications at another Kentucky distillery.
