A single cask Macduff 1972 31-year-old single malt whisky bottled in 2003 or 2004 by mail order independent bottlers Direct Wines for their First Cask series. This was labelled as a Speyside at the time, although Macduff was later formally classified as a Highland distillery.

This 31-year-old Macduff 1972 came from single cask 2365, bottled without colouring or chill filtration at 46%. Direct Wines' customers must have loved Macduff 1972 - the company bottled around two dozen of these single casks between 2003-4.
