An old bottle of Macallan Fine Oak 10-year-old from the mid 2000s, this is a pretty early version as the Fine Oak series made it official debut in 2004.

This 10-year-old Fine Oak Macallan is a well-made easy-drinking Speyside whisky, bottled from an assemblage of both bourbon and sherry casks. These Fine Oak Macallans were not exactly welcomed by dyed-in-the-wool hardcore sherried Macallan aficionados on release, but over time they found their audience and these early editions are now quite sought after.
