This Symington’s Choice 19-year-old Ledaig 2005 came from cask 900158, a first fill oloroso sherry butt that yielded 593 bottles at a chunky natural cask strength of 54.1%. Ledaig, as you’re probably already aware, is the peated spirit made at Tobermory distillery, and its whisky suits a sherry cask like beans suit toast - this will be delicious.
