An old bottle of Laphroaig 30-year-old Cairdeas Islay single malt whisky. This was an official bottling released by the distillery for their Friends of Laphroaig fan club in 2008.

This edition of Laphroaig 30-year-old was the second of the distillery's Cairdeas releases and remains comfortably the oldest and most prestigious of the series. It's also sadly one of the rarest: Cairdeas 30-year-old was a limited edition of 1536 bottles from a small batch of 60% sherry and 40% bourbon casks that were reracked for a finishing period in fresh bourbon casks before bottling. A rich, deep, oily old Laphroaig, perfect as a luxurious after-dinner dram.
