This 28-year-old Laphroaig 1967 came from single cask 2202, one of a pair of First Cask 1967 Laphroaig sister casks released around the same time, and was bottled without colouring or chill filtration at a hearty 46% drinking strength. 1967 is a famous vintage for Laphroaig, showing gentle but delicious tropical fruit alongside the expected phenolic intensity. A beautiful old school Islay whisky.
