A small batch Lagavulin Distillery Only Islay single malt whisky bottled without an age statement in 2010 at full cask strength.

Lagavulin Distillery Only was a limited edition of 6000 bottles released at a natural cask strength of 52.5% and, as the name suggests, this was only available for sale to visitors to the distillery. This exclusive small batch Lagavulin shows a distinct sweet sherry influence and was rumoured at the time to have been stock left over from the Lagavulin 1991-2007 Distillers Edition that was returned to either refill or sherry-seasoned casks (sources differ) for a little further maturation before being bottled at cask strength.
