An old bottle of Lagavulin 1993 14-year-old Islay single malt whisky, this was a special limited edition bottled in 2008 for Feis Ile, the world famous Islay Festival of Malt and Music. This was the second ever Lagavulin festival bottling, hand selected from Warehouse Number 1 by legendary warehouseman Iain MacArthur.
In 1993, Lagavulin Distillery was entering a golden era of high-quality production, marked by winning major international awards and operating under manager Grant Carmichael.
This 14-year-old Islay single malt was drawn from cask number 1403 and bottled at a natural cask strength of 52.9%. It has since become a firm favourite among Lagavulin fans and remains highly sought after.
