A single cask Invergordon 1972 44-year-old single grain whisky bottled in 2016 without colouring or chill filtration by independent bottlers Adelphi as part of their Adelphi Limited range.

This 44-year-old Invergordon 1972 came from single cask 571, which turned out a paltry 82 bottles at its naturally low cask strength of 42.2%, so this will have had lots of air in the cask and can be expected to show plenty of delicious tertiary ageing, which usually balances and mellows the oak influence.
