A lovely old bottle of Highland Park 8-year-old 100 Proof Island single malt whisky bottled by Gordon & MacPhail at some point in the 1970s. This is the higher strength edition of this classic whisky, bottled at 57.15%.

Logic dictates that this 8-year-old Highland Park 100 Proof was likely distilled at some point between the mid-1960s and the very early 1970s, a legendary era for both G&M and Highland Park. This was one of the earliest editions of this fantastic dram, one of the only independent bottlings allowed to use the Highland Park name, and is a fantastic old school HP - rich and oily, with noticeable sherry influence and some serious old school coastal saline, leather and spices. A tempestuous, slightly feral dram, and all the better for it.
