Tomatin 10 Year Old 1970s

Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Distillery Bottling 26 2/3 Fl Ozs / 70 Proof

A lovely old bottle of Tomatin 10-year-old Highland single malt whisky from yesteryear. This version of the classic black and gold label uses imperial measurements and therefore must have been bottled before 1980.

Tomatin was one of Scotland’s largest distilleries at the time this 1960s distillate would have been hitting the shelves, and old official Tomatins from this era typically show lots of lean green fruits, hints of wax and notes of porridge, cereals and herbs. Bottlings like this that are not from 'big name' distilleries are excellent value snapshots of older style malt whisky.
