The first official release of single malt from the Kininvie distillery was a 15 year old first fill sherry cask bottled in 2006 to celebrate the 105th birthday of Janet Sheed Roberts, the granddaughter of Glenfiddich's William Grant.

This very rare bottling of cask strength sherried Kininvie, released as Hazelwood, was initially only available to William Grant employees and family members.
