An old bottle of the classic Glenlivet 18-year-old Speyside single malt whisky. This edition was bottled at 43% at some point in the early 2000s, certainly before the bottle shape was changed around 2010/11.

After an iffy period of so-so bottlings in the 1990s Glenlivet went on an exceptional run in the Noughties, and this 18-year-old was a guaranteed crowd-pleaser, with rich sherry influence and a firm but gentle structure ensuring the whisky never becomes cloying. These old Glenlivet 18-year-old bottlings from the first decade of the century are ridiculously easy to drink.
