The 12th edition of Glenfiddich 40 year old, this was released in 2015 at an impressive strength of 46.6% in a batch of just 600 bottles complete with a hand stitched calf leather presentation case with an intricately designed lock and key.

As 40-year-old casks are rather hard to come by, Glenfiddich have a special process for their 40-year-old, whereby each batch is married together with a portion of liquid left over from the previous 40 year old, ensuring consistency and quality for each new batch. This is known as remnant vatting and Glenfiddich claim the process is unique to them.
