An old bottle of Glenfiddich Ancient Reserve 18-year-old, this is most likely from some point between the late 1990s and the early to mid 2000s - the label still says Pure Malt, which of course is frowned on nowadays. Rest assured that this is definitely 100% Glenfiddich single malt whisky!

Glenfiddich's 18-year-old is called Small Batch nowadays, but we much prefer the Ancient Reserve title, which gives it some appropriate gravitas. A very fine, elegant after-dinner dram from Glenfiddich.
