This 18-year-old Glendronach 1995 was one of 650 bottles yielded from single cask 3025, which was a Pedro Ximenez sherry puncheon cask with a natural cask strength of 51.1%. A full dose of super-classic 1990s Glendronach character, featuring earthy, slightly drying sherry packed full of dark fruits, balsamico, leafy notes, old pipe tobacco and even touches of rancio.
These Glendronach single casks were the best value official releases on the market at the time of release and although prices have crept up in the intervening decade or so they're still tremendous drams for the money.
