They can also often be a little dirtier and more playful without the 'sterner' qualities of the older expressions.
There are hardly any distilleries that can touch Glendronach anymore for top quality sherry matured drams at this kind of mid-age. Lets hope they can keep up annual releases of this kind of quality.
