An old bottle of Glendronach 1993 25-year-old Master Vintage Highland single malt whisky, which was bottled in 2019 and released at its natural strength of 48.2% without colouring or chill filtration.

A rich, dense, characterful, big-boned whisky, Glendronach 1993 Master Vintage 25-year-old was matured entirely in a mix of Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks, but sadly this turned out to be a one-off bottling and is now getting very scarce.

Appearance: Deep mahogany.

Nose: Brandy-laced fruitcake and marzipan, with hints of smoked walnut and toasted sultana bread.

Palate: Coffee and sultana brioche, with a twist of baked orange rind.

Finish: Sumptuous and lingering, with cocoa, dates, and pecan toffee.
