Glencraig 1975-2020 | 44 Year Old Gordon & MacPhail 125th Anniversary Single Cask 9686
Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 54.2%
A single cask Glencraig 1975 bottled as a 44-year-old without colouring or chill filtration in 2020 by indie heroes Gordon & MacPhail for their 125th Anniversary celebrations.
This 1975 Glencraig 44-year-old came from a single refill American hogshead cask that yielded just 110 bottles at its natural cask strength of 54.2%. Glencraig is a particularly rare single malt, made on Lomond stills at Glenburgie distillery between 1958-1981, so this is one of the rarest and oldest examples you'll ever find. This was the last cask of Glencraig at Gordon & MacPhail, so unless Signatory Vintage or someone else has more stock this might be the last ever bottling from this short-lived experimental single malt.
