An old bottle of Glen Ord 12-year-old Highland single malt whisky from the early 2000s, back in the day when one of Diageo's most underrated distilleries was still available in the UK as a single malt.

Glen Ord is often brilliant, rich, full-bodied, well structured highland whisky, and these old 12-year-olds were tweedy, grassy drams with a pleasant malty bite. Sadly, Glen Ord 12-year-old was discontinued and the distillery's whisky is now reserved for the Asian market where it is sold as Singleton of Glen Ord.
