Glen Grant 1951-2013 | 61 Year Old Gordon & MacPhail Casks 3202+2760
Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 40%
An old bottle of Glen Grant 1951 bottled as a 62-year-old in 2013 by Gordon & MacPhail as a licensed bottling in what is now referred to as the Distillery Labels series.
This 1951 Glen Grant 61-year-old was bottled from a micro batch of two sherry butt casks 3202 and 2760, one of which was a first fill cask and the other a refill cask. As with the majority of Gordon & MacPhail's long-aged Glen Grants, expect the usual wall of tropical fruits, honey, beeswax, spice and exotic wood notes. Sublime and utterly compelling whisky.
