A single cask Islay (La) 1992 31-year-old Islay single malt whisky, one of a pair of sister casks of mystery Islay malt bottled in 2024 by Signatory Vintage without colouring or chill filtration for their prestige Symington’s Choice range.

This 1992 Islay (La) 31-year-old matured in Cask 6778, a bourbon barrel that yielded 237 bottles at its natural cask strength of 51.7%. There’s two distilleries this could be from, and of course either would be absolutely great, but a little detective work has us convinced that this is from the more south-westerly of the two ‘La’ distilleries on the south coast.
