A single cask Convalmore 1981 16-year-old Speyside single malt whisky released in 1997 or 1998 by mail order independent whisky bottlers Direct Wines for their First Cask series.

This 16-year-old Convalmore 1981 came from single cask 89/604/116, bottled without colouring or chill filtration at 46%. Convalmore closed a couple of years after this was distilled and was still a relatively unknown lost distillery at the time this was bottled in the late 1990s - these teenage indie bottlings are now increasingly sought after.
