Brora 1982-2002 | 20 Year Old Chieftains Single Cask 1197
Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Ian Macleod Distillers 70cl / 46%
A single cask Brora 1982 20-year-old Highland single malt whisky bottled in 2002 by indie bottlers Ian Macleod for their Chieftain's Choice range. This Brora 1982 20-year-old was bottled from a single cask without colouring or chill filtration.
This 20-year-old Brora 1982 came from single cask 1197, a sherry butt that yielded 648 bottles at a hearty drinking strength of 46%. These sherried single cask Broras have an amazing colour but are sadly rather rare nowadays, probably because they only cost around £50 on release and many were opened and drunk at the time.
