A single cask Bowmore 1989 28-year-old Islay single malt whisky released by the distillery in 2017 at full cask strength for the 2018 Feis Ile Islay Festival.

This 28-year-old Bowmore 1989 was bottled without colouring or chill filtration from single cask 7929, which was a bourbon cask that yielded 212 bottles at its very approachable natural cask strength of 44.7%. A delicious long-aged Bowmore showing coastal notes and exotic fruit without any of the unfortunate perfume notes that dogged some of the distillery's output from this era.
