A bottle of small batch Bowmore Tempest Batch 1 10-year-old Islay single malt whisky released by the distillery in 2009 at full cask strength.

This 10-year-old Bowmore Tempest Batch 1 came from a small batch of first fill bourbon casks and was an edition of 12000 bottles released without chill filtration at a natural cask strength of 55.3%. Bowmore Tempest was a smash hit on release and spawned several further outings; the first three batches are generally agreed to be the best of these releases, which marked a distinct return to form for the distillery.
