Benromach 40-year-old Batch 2 carries on in much the same vein as its award-winning forebear, being a limited edition of just 1098 bottles. This whisky was assembled from sherry-matured 40-year-old stock and has been bottled at a potent 56.5%, ensuring a superb intensity of delicious sherried Speyside flavours.

Nose: Ripe red apple aromas infuse with fragrant clove and ginger spice. Dried fruit notes develop alongside tangerine peel and subtle beeswax polish.
Palate: Orange oil gives way to a stewed raisin with spicy black pepper. Raspberry compote and walnut flavours lead to soft dried tobacco and charred oak.
Finish: A full, lingering finish with festive spices.
