An old bottle of Benriach 12-year-old, we think this was most likely bottled soon after the turn of  the millennium, mostly on the basis of the label which has the distillery illustration in a faded gold colour rather than the more familiar red of most of the 12-year-old bottlings from the Noughties.

In any event, this 12-year-old Benriach should be a delicious, approachable, easy-going fresh, malty dram with honeyed, biscuity spices - a great aperitif dram.
