Ben Nevis 2008 10-year-old Batch 1 Cask Strength was bottled in 2018 without colouring or chill filtration as a limited edition small batch of 9000 bottles.

At the time of writing in early 2024, there still hasn't been a Batch 2 of this particular Ben Nevis, which is a pity, as it's an absolutely monstrous dram. Assembled from a mix of first fill sherry, bourbon and wine casks, this 10-year-old Ben Nevis 2008 is a rich, oily, spicy, funky beast, bursting with intense fruit, fusel oils, cooked meats and umami / natural sulphur and was bottled at its enormous cask strength of 62.4%, so proceed with caution.
