A wonderful old single cask edition of Balvenie 1972, bottled as a 33-year-old in 2006 at 47.3%. These are getting almost impossible to find now.

This magnificent Balvenie single malt was one of several 1972 single casks released by Balvenie in 2006, and they have a deserved reputation as some of the best whiskies ever bottled from the distillery. Cask 14832 yielded just 150 bottles, each stuffed with complex, ethereal, biscuity, patisserie and fruit flavours on a bed of polished, spicy oak. A legendary dram.
