Auchenhame was The Whisky Connoisseur's pseudonym for Tamdhu, so this will be a sturdy old school Speyside pleasure. This 12-year-old Auchenhame (Tamdhu) 1980 came from single cask 10798 which was bottled in 1992 or 1993 at its sturdy natural cask strength of 56%, also listed as 98 UK Imperial proof on the label.
