Ardbeg 8 Year Old For Discussion Committee Release 2021
Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Distillery Bottling 70cl / 50.8%
The 2021 release of Ardbeg 8-year-old bottled 'For Discussion' by the Ardbeg Committee. This was the first For Discussion Ardbeg 8-year-old and it was clearly a popular idea, as they did another bottling at the same strength of 50.8% in 2022.
The original For Discussion Ardbeg was the first ever Ardbeg Very Young which was bottled for the Ardbeg Committee in 2003, a genius bit of marketing that quickly established that there was an avid legion of peat fans more than happy to stump up for a new Ardbeg, no matter what age it was. Luckily for Ardbeg, the same remains true almost two decades later.
