A 1980s bottling of 8yo Talisker. These old officials were fruit and peat powerhouses with maximum intensity of flavour and expression. Needs to be tasted to be properly understood, like most of these great old-style peated coastal malts.

Big notes of preserved lemons, sat, bandages and al kinds of medical complexities with huge green fruit notes, waxy peat, resinous, briny notes and hints of freshly ground black pepper.
