Time now for our next Whisky-Online Virtual Whisky Tasting - and it's a whiskEy tasting this time! Join us on Zoom on Friday 19th May with our guest hosts Cian Quilty (Sailor's Home MD & Founder) and Jack O’Sé from Sailor's Home Irish Whiskey for an evening of triple-distilled delights.
Jack is a consultant distiller and blender and the Master Whiskey Maker for Sailor's Home, and he'll be taking us through an elegant quintet of Sailor's Home drams, encompassing blends, single pot still and single malt Irish whiskeys - many of whose constituent ingredients have been finished in casks ranging from Madeira or Martinique rhum through to craft Irish stout.

How it works and what you get:
1. Order a tasting pack here.
2. Your pack containing all drams will then be shipped out to you prior to the tasting. The week of the tasting an email with the Zoom link and a 10% discount code to redeem against any whiskies tasted on the evening will be sent.
3. On the 19th of May 2023 click the link at 19:15 GMT (to allow for any technical issues you may encounter) and you will be accepted into the tasting at 19:30.
4. Relax and get ready to pour, listen, taste, and ask as many questions as you wish.
*Please note that the 10% off voucher can only be redeemed on the full-size bottle versions of the whiskies tasted on the evening from Whisky-Online Shop and will be valid for 3 days from the date of the tasting.

Jack O’Sé
Sailor's Home's Master Whiskey Maker Jack O’Sé joined the drinks trade in 1979 after an extensive and distinguished academic career. Originally employed by the Irish Drinks Company (Ceimici Teoranta) to produce neutral spirit for cream liqueurs, Jack's subsequent career saw him develop his expertise in every facet of whiskeymaking from yeast production to still design.
Jack has the distinction of being able to work as both a distiller and blender, and has advised distilleries across Ireland including Pearse Lyons, Achill and The Burren. Sailor's Home is where Jack now works his magic as a blender, with a detailed and wide-ranging cask policy for the company's maturing whiskeys giving him a unique palette of spirit styles to work with.
